Note: This is for one of our clients, not avua directlyResponsibilities:Develop detailed plans and specifications for cable systems based on project requirements, including fiber optic, coaxial, and Ethernet cables.Oversee the installation and deployment of cable systems, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project timelines.Conduct comprehensive testing of cable systems to verify performance and identify any issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems as they arise.Perform routine maintenance on cable infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality and longevity. Plan and execute upgrades or expansions as needed.Maintain accurate documentation of cable system designs, installations, test results, and maintenance activities. Keep records up-to-date and accessible for reference.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technicians, and other engineers, to coordinate project activities and ensure successful outcomes.Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices in cable engineering and telecommunications.Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding cable system configurations, troubleshooting, and upgrades. Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications or specialized training in cable engineering is a plus.Minimum of 2+ years of experience in cable engineering, telecommunications, or a related field. Demonstrated expertise in designing, installing, and maintaining cable systems.Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and develop effective cable system solutions. Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and resolving issues.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to share knowledge and mentor junior team members.Meticulous attention to detail in designing, implementing, and documenting cable systems. Commitment to ensuring accuracy and quality in all work activities.Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and deadlines.
