As a Senior Commissioning Engineer specializing in Energy and Oil & Gas sectors, you will lead the commissioning process for complex energy projects, including oil and gas facilities, power plants, renewable energy installations, and industrial infrastructure. You will oversee the testing, startup, and optimization of equipment and systems to ensure they meet performance specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety standards. Responsibilities:Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules in coordination with project managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders. Define commissioning scope, objectives, milestones, and resource requirements to achieve project goals and client expectations.Coordinate and supervise the testing and verification of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems during the commissioning phase. Perform functional testing, loop checks, and performance validation to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.Lead the startup and initial operation of energy and oil & gas facilities, including plant systems, pipelines, compressors, turbines, and control systems. Provide technical support, troubleshooting assistance, and operational guidance to operations teams to achieve smooth transitions from commissioning to commercial operation.Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and industry standards throughout the commissioning process. Conduct safety assessments, hazard analyses, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards and safety risks.Implement quality control measures and inspection procedures to verify equipment installation, functionality, and performance. Conduct inspections, audits, and documentation reviews to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the commissioning phase, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and resolving technical issues. Collaborate closely with client representatives, project managers, and subcontractors to maintain open communication and foster positive relationships.Lead and mentor commissioning teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to ensure effective coordination and execution of commissioning activities. Provide guidance, training, and technical support to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field).
