Job: Web and Graphic designer in Cairo, Egypt

The Creative Web Designer is responsible for the layout, visual appearance, developing GUIs, and usability of major and minor websites. Enhancements and defect resolution will be required on an ongoing basis. Best practices and design methods will be utilized to insure the success of the designs. He or she will be required to have experience in graphics, layouts, slicing PSD’s involving creativity and insight to graphic tools not limited to just Adobe Photoshop.

Responsibilities will include:

• Creating visual elements required to design a web page, such as color schemes, text formatting, and layout. 
• Creating interactive design concepts. 
• Understanding of dynamic design and the strengths and limitations of Flash, Ajax and other merging platforms. 
• Create design prototypes, including graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content web site. 
• Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements as necessary. 
• Create visual concepts that match the requirements; ensure that content is easy to navigate. 
• Build web-based applications and web sites using technologies that conform to web standards. 
• Perform maintenance and updates to existing web site.

• To be creative and think out of the box.
• Advanced knowledge in HTML and HTML5 
• Advanced knowledge of CSS 
• Good Knowledge of JavaScript 
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator 
• Good Knowledge in web design standards
• Good Knowledge in building design on different CMSs (drupal, wordpress, joomla)
