Job Description
- Prepare budget templates for department heads to use in the preparation of the company budget.
- Assist department heads in the preparation of their budgets.
- Assist in the consolidation of the departments budgets and the preparation of the company’s annual budget.
- Prepare financial reports that include profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow in order to justify deviations between budget and actual expenditures.
- Conduct analysis for the actual figures versus the forecasted ones (monthly, quarterly and annual) to identify their effect in driving the business.
- Prepare monthly & quarterly financial indicators against company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Apply the necessary monitoring & control measures to ensure the that company spending is within the approved budget levels.
- Preparing periodical reports as needed.
- Handling daily operations relating to spending requests.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role
- Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software
- Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
- Familiarity with finance databases
- Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP)
- Up to date with accounting laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts.
- Demonstrable strategic thinking skills
- Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus.
