GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of several Human Resources tasks to deliver and meet department’s objectives.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure technical recruitment requests are executed within reasonable time frame.
  • Maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
  • Organizes internal search and the process of external search.
  • Assists in the development of advertisements job descriptions; monitor the quality of the company job advertisements and ensure that they are flawless.
  • Posts advertisements online either on the companies’ or recruitment’s websites as well as in the newspapers/magazines and search for relevant and qualified candidates on various job boards (internally and externally on the different regional recruitment websites.)
  • Acts as liaison with various recruitment sources such as advertisements, universities, recruitment agencies, external job boards, professional bodies, etc.
  • Attends Employment Fairs; presents the organization to the applicants; screens the applicants and builds the CV database (hard & soft copies).
  • Reviews resumes received; conducts formal and structured applicant screening through job interview via phone or face-to-face; recommends short-listed candidates.
  • Administers Pre-Employment Tests.
  • Prepares interviewer comment sheets & reports accordingly.
  • Checks employee references.
  • Checks that compensation levels cope with the company's compensation policy established by the HR department in order to prepare the job offers.
  • Complies with the Hiring Procedure and persists in its implementation.
  • Assists in preparing reports and statistics on regular basis as needed.
  • Assist in the implementation of the new Performance Appraisal system.
  • Ensure Performance Appraisal is carried out periodically and effectively.
  • Assist in annual increase campaigns and salary adjustments.
  • Contribute in the preparation of all needed data for conducting different salary surveys (example: HAY and MEAG).
  • Create/Update periodically the Job Descriptions for all positions in 6th of October Plant.
  • Create/update Organization Charts using VISIO.
  • Analyze employees’ turnover statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of problems and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Handle employee exit interviews to identify areas for improvement in the organization & sources of job dissatisfaction.
  • Follows up on the ongoing training and development programs.
  • Responds to staff inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • May assist with on-boarding and orientation activities as needed or directed.
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of work records.
  • Maintain accurate records and files.
