About the Job

• Auditing company policies, procedures and company publications on a regular basis, to ensure these practices are up-to-date and in compliance with existing employment laws.
• Meet regularly with labor unions and employee grievance committees within the company.
• Management representation to employees on issue regarding work specification s.
• Attend all executive committee meeting to report on employee relations.
• Make certain all physical properties and office environment are properly maintained to ensure safe working conditions.
• Provide leadership and vision to the organization by assisting the Board and staff with the development of long range and annual plans, and with the evaluation and reporting of progress on plans.
• Oversee preparation of an Annual Report summarizing progress on short and long range plans.
• Research and write discussion papers, analysis documents and proposals as needed to assist the organization in determining and meeting its long and short term goals.

Qualifications
1. A minimum of five years of experience in business management, planning and financial oversight.
2. A minimum of five years of experience in personnel management, including hiring, supervision, evaluation and benefits administration.
3. A minimum of three years of experience working with a board of directors and committees.
4. College graduate or equivalent experience.
5. Proven skills in business and financial management.
6. Demonstrated ability to work with student member - owners.
7. Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.
8. Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a staff team.
10. Effective problem - solving and mediation skills.
11. Demonstrated ability to share skills and knowledge with others.
12. Proficiency with office computer equipment and software.
13. Demonstrated ability to multi - task and work in a fast - paced office setting.
14. Proven ability to cope with conflict, stress and crisis situations.
