Responsibilities:
- Mobile Development: Spearhead all phases of mobile development from concept to deployment, ensuring robust, responsive, and user-friendly designs.
- Innovation and Improvement: Continuously refine our mobile applications, enhancing functionality and user experience while integrating the latest mobile technologies.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Mentor junior developers, promoting best practices in mobile development.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards in application performance by establishing quality assurance processes; identify and correct bottlenecks; fix bugs to enhance application performance.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Proficiency in mobile development frameworks such as React Native, Swift, or Kotlin.
- Experience with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
- Strong knowledge of mobile UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch.”
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimisation.
