Job Description
- Managing and maintaining an accurate inventory of product storage warehouses
- Discussing and negotiating shipping rates with product carriers
- Reviewing shipping contracts with shipping companies and air and sea freight lines.
- Validating and finalizing the completion of paperwork for shipments and customs clearance of shipments on time.
- Reviewing and finalizing the needed work/tasks with customs and customs clearance companies.
- Setting up and maintaining schedules for outbound shipments
- Working with other departments in the organization to implement logistical improvements
- Supervising the work of the rest of the logistics team
- Overseeing the exporting process of a product
Job Requirements
- BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
- From 10 - 15 years of experience in logistics
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
- Proficient in standard logistics software
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
