Job Description
Research
o Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform design decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
o Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities for product growth, stay ahead of industry trends, and identify features with high user adoption potential.
2. User-Centric Design:
o Advocate for user-centric design principles, conducting user research, usability testing, and troubleshooting UX problems.
o Collaborate closely with the Product Head, and cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, user needs, and business objectives, translating them into exceptional user experiences.
3. Wireframing, Prototyping, and Iteration:
o Lead the UI/UX design process from concept to execution, , including wireframing, prototyping, and creating high-fidelity designs
o Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and mockups to present to internal teams and stakeholders, incorporating feedback to iterate and refine designs.
o Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs, providing assets, specifications, and guidance.
o Gather feedback & collect data to iteratively optimize user journeys and drive engagement.
o Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and user behavior to measure UX performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven strategies to accelerate growth.
o Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to emphasize growth experimentation and data-driven decision making.
4. Design System and Style Guide:
o Develop and maintain a cohesive design system and style guide to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.
5. Features Go-to-Market:
o Define effective go-to-market strategies for new product features.
o Ensure successful launches that drive user growth and adoption.
o Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create compelling visuals and promotional materials that effectively communicate product features and benefits.
Job Requirements
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in UI/UX design roles, with a strong focus on mobile applications. · Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Psychology, Industrial Design, or relevant fields.
Required Certificate Required Job Knowledge
Certification in UX/UI
Design or similar · Demonstrated portfolio showcasing expertise in UI/UX design for mobile applications. · Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
relevant certification is a plus. · Strong understanding of mobile design principles, platform guidelines (iOS, Android), and responsive design. · Experience working in Agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and iterating based on user feedback. · Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale effectively.
Additional Comments Preferred industry/Companies to Attract from (if any)
· Experience in the Fintech, Banking, or SAAS industry is highly preferred. · Startups, where candidates had experience in designing a product from scratch · Prior experience with white-labeled mobile application design or SAAS product design, is a plus.
