Job Description

  • Develop QHSE Culture and good practice inside Colas Rail Egypt at corporate level and inside each project.
  • Manage the Project Quality and safety managers across all projects to achieve control, monitoring and implementation of QHSSE Plans and contract governance in line with colas Rail company policies and procedures based on specific action plan / project matching legal /contract requirements.
  • Propose a practical system in the simplest possible way yet following ISO 9001 principles.
  • Develop, maintain and improve the business Integrated Management System to underpin QHSSE and achieve compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and CSR corporate vision.
  • Ensure the day to day support to the teams on quality processes and organizational issues and lessons learned.
  • Develop, implement and maintain tools (eg. indicator) to monitor and report quality performance on a weekly and monthly basis, analysis results and propose areas for improvement and take necessary actions to adapt the System.
  • Manage/Monitor and review Non Conformance Reports for Colas Rail and the consortum partners when needed and remedial actions ; assist in their preparation and processing as required.
  • Organize/Participate to quality inspections and audits (internal, partners or contractors).
  • Monitor and review Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans with respect to quality requirements
  • Check Field Changes Requests with respect to quality requirements.
  • Monitor and review project closeout documentation including Quality Record Submissions, tracking and closure of Punch List Items, As-built documentation, O&M Manuals; assist in their preparation and processing as required.
  • Assist when required in arranging inspections and testing by Project and external Parties.
  • Provide a single business focus for accident and incident reporting and assist with subsequent investigation process; provide trend analysis to Management Team to support and provide focus for driving positive behaviors and culture within the business.
  • Support the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of QHSE Standards and the relevance to business objectives.
