Job Description
- Lead documentation control for construction.
- Keeping track of important project documents like project plans, blueprints, vendor contracts and drawings
- Following and improving document control procedures.
- Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards.
- Sorting, storing and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents on behalf of clients and industry professionals.
- Producing document progress reports for senior managers.
- Conducting regular reviews and document audits.
- Helping in the planning stages of a specific project.
- Ensure documents are shared at key times to facilitate timely project completion.
Job Requirements
This role requires someone with:
- Proven work experience as a Document Controller in the construction field is a must.
- Bsc. of any relevant discipline
- 10 - 15 years of experience.
- Strong computer, communication and organizational skills to work with documents.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and interact with the construction project team.
- Experience using software applications like Microsoft Office, construction management applications and document management systems.
