Job Description

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, payroll records, and other financial transactions.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management for improving financial performance and efficiency.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Assist in the coordination of audits and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting principles and regulations and implement necessary adjustments to accounting procedures and practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification is preferred.
  • Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High ethical standards and confidentiality in handling financial information.
