Job Description

Role Overview: 

 

As a Technical Office Engineer at Osisco, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and pricing support for our specialized applicator projects, particularly in waterproofing, insulation, and flooring solutions utilizing epoxy, MMA, and ucrete applications. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop tailored solutions that meet technical requirements and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise:

  • Conduct comprehensive technical reviews of project specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative and cost-effective technical solutions.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in specialized applicator work.

Pricing Support:

  • Analyze project specifications and scope to develop accurate cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
  • Prepare detailed pricing proposals and quotations for clients, ensuring alignment with project budgets and profitability targets.
  • Conduct periodic cost reviews and analysis to optimize project profitability and identify areas for cost savings.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and conditions.

Client Engagement:

  • Liaise with clients to understand their technical requirements and budget constraints.
  • Present technical proposals and pricing solutions to clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to foster collaboration and drive project success.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering 
  • Proven experience in technical engineering roles, with a focus on waterproofing, insulation, or flooring solutions.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation, pricing analysis, and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and software tools is a plus.
