Position Overview:
As an NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Level III, you will hold a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and integrity of materials and components through the application of non-destructive testing techniques. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining compliance with industry standards and specifications, while also driving continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, review, and approve NDT procedures, techniques, and inspection plans to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of testing methods.
Conduct training and certification programs for NDT personnel in accordance with industry requirements and standards.
Establish and maintain quality assurance measures to verify the reliability and accuracy of NDT results.
Coordinate and oversee NDT inspections, including scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting of findings.
Analyze NDT data and inspection results to identify defects, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
Interface with clients to discuss inspection requirements, present findings, and address any concerns or queries.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during NDT operations, mitigating potential risks to personnel and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of NDT activities, inspection reports, certifications, and relevant documentation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in NDT processes, techniques, and equipment to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in non-destructive testing, with a focus on NDT Level III responsibilities.
- Certification as an NDT Level III in any conventional method (Experience in PAUT/PECT at Level II or above preferred).
- Thorough understanding of relevant codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., ASNT, API, ASTM).
- Strong knowledge of NDT techniques, including but not limited to ultrasonic testing, radio graphic testing, magnetic particle testing, and penetrate testing.
- Experience working outside India, particularly in the Middle East or abroad, is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients effectively, team members, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to established safety protocols.
