Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under it’s umbrella – SALT, Switch, Parker’s, Grind, Somewhere and Public.We are currently seeking an experienced Project Estimator for our Projects department.Job ResponsibilitiesPrepare BOQ and Tender packTender analysis report for ApprovalsPrepares RFQ and issues to vendorRFQ analysis reportPrequalification of contractors & vendorsCoordinate for the registration of suppliersIssue RFI to contractors upon coordination with PM’sPreparation of Bill of Quantities.Estimating and cost control.Interpreting specifications, price tenders, and preparation of contract documents.Interpreting and checking drawings, tender documents, quantities and estimates.Managing and supervising Tender / Quantity Surveyor Department and planning and programming workloadJob Skills And QualificationProven 4-5 years in Hospitality interiors , Fit outs and Restaurant Projects, or fit-out and joinery refurbishments experience as Estimator or similar roleAptitude in understanding the projects and its requirementsDetermine key variables for cost and other estimatesGather first-hand information from sites, warehouses or other avenuesConduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production timeline
