Our guests are given access to a world of exclusivity, comfort, diverse dining, and private access to our beach club’s Mediterranean-inspired charm, seamlessly blending the essence of an unparalleled urban resort experience.As part of The First Group, the region’s pinnacle in award-winning lifestyle hotels and investment solutions, The First Collection stands as more than a hotel brand – it is a commitment, a passion, and a journey into Dubai’s finest.Job SummaryThe Front Office Associate is responsible for greetings, checking guests in and checking guests out of the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and welcome all guests approaching the front desk in accordance with company standardsBeing able to perform all Front Office duties like check-in and check-out of guests, answering the phone according to the hotel etiquette, assist guests with their inquiries, taking reservations and performing administrational tasksBe familiar with all the Front Office software required for the positionEnsure that all hotel standards are met when assisting the guests and handling informationAnswer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation in a timely mannerReview Front Office logs, Trace File and Credit Limit dailyAnswer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.Be familiar with all in-house groupsBe aware of closed out and restricted datesCoordinate with Front Office Supervisor in performing daily task or during the shiftBe familiar with hospitality terminologyHave knowledge of emergency procedures and assistance as needed.Always use proper etiquette when communicating with guests and associatesBe able to perform and complete all tasks and duties on the shift checklist in a timelyand efficient mannerMaintain and market promotions and guest programsMaintain a clean work areaPerform any other works as and when assigned by the supervisor and/or managementQualifications and SkillsAtleast one year of experience working as a Front Office Associate in a 4/5 * hotelExcellent communications skills with proficiency in speaking and writing english.Good communication skills and interpersonal skillsExtremely agile as the job demands speed and efficiency in its executionTeam player with excellent planning and organizing skillsAble to work flexible working hours with rotating shiftsPleasant personality with good problem-solving skills
