Job Description
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an Accountant.

- Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
- Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Generate financial reports for management, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
- Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
- Maintaining accurate financial records.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the organization's liquidity.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
- Computing taxes.
- Preparing and documenting payroll records
- Preparing payment orders
- Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
- Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Prepare documentation and schedules for external auditors.
- Assist in the completion of audits and address any audit findings.
- Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
- Examining and processing expenses submitted by employees
- Creating company financial reports with the above information included
- Analyzing data collected in order to determine the state of the company’s financial health
- Generating financial reports that display the company’s profits, equity and cash flow
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with and train clerks
- Stay updated on changes in accounting and tax laws and implement necessary adjustments.
- Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and provide support.
- Collaborate with finance and management teams to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Report to Office Manager and Executive Team
Requirements
- 2 – 4 years’ experience in Accounting.
- SOCPA certified
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field
- Advanced level of Arabic language (written and spoken)
- Advanced level of English language (written and spoken)
