Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining coffee shops and possess expertise in civil, electrical, plumbing, coffee machines, ice makers, lighting, CCTV, and air conditioning systems. The General Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and systems.Key ResponsibilitiesFacility Maintenance:• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the coffee shop facilities to ensure safety, functionality, and cleanliness.• Perform minor repairs and adjustments to the building structure and interior, including walls, floors, ceilings, and fixtures.Electrical Maintenance:• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, circuits, and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.• Install, replace, or upgrade electrical components and systems as needed.• Experience in lighting installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.• Knowledge of CCTV systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Plumbing Maintenance:• Inspect, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and pipes to prevent leaks, blockages, or other issues.• Install, replace, or repair plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, and faucets.Coffee Machine and Equipment Maintenance:• Maintain and repair various coffee machines, including troubleshooting, repairing, and calibration.• Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate coffee grinders to ensure optimal performance and quality of coffee.• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of coffee machines and grinders to ensure optimal performance and longevity.Ice Maker, Display refrigerators and Freezers Maintenance:• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of ice makers, Display refrigerators and Freezers to ensure optimal performance and longevity.• Troubleshoot and repair any issues or malfunctions with ice makers, Display refrigerators and Freezers to minimize downtime.Air Conditioning Maintenance:• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot air conditioning systems to ensure efficient operation and comfort for customers and staff.• Conduct regular inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of air conditioning units to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan.Equipment Maintenance:• Maintain and repair various equipment and machinery used in the coffee shop, including grinders, blenders, and refrigeration units.• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.Documentation and Reporting:• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.• Report any significant issues, maintenance needs, or safety concerns to the Maintenance Manager.Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or technical certification in electromechanical technology, electrical engineering, or a related field preferred.• Proven experience as maintenance technician or similar role minimum of 5 years, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical systems. • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, including knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, PLCs, and mechanical systems.• Strong knowledge and skills in civil maintenance, electrical systems, plumbing, coffee machine maintenance, ice maker maintenance, lighting, CCTV, and air conditioning systems.• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. • Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.• Valid driver's license and clean driving record. • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate coffee machines and grinders.• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.• Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
