- Respond to technical queries from both internal and external parties, offering direction and guidance on mechanical engineering issues.
- Prepare datasheet and material requisitions for static, rotating, and packaged equipment.
- Manage interactions with equipment suppliers and vendors, including requesting information, budgetary proposals, and conducting basic technical evaluations.
- Promote safety and ensure adherence to all workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Provide technical advice and solutions to diverse issues within the mechanical engineering discipline.
- Coordinate with other disciplines throughout all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up.
- Assist in the overall coordination of mechanical engineering design activities.
- Identify concerns regarding progress and quality, recommending corrective actions as needed.
