Job Description

Position Overview: As an Event Usher/Customer service staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of various events. Your primary responsibility will be to assist guests, provide directions, answer inquiries, and maintain order during the event. You will serve as the face of hospitality, ensuring that guests have a positive experience from the moment they arrive until they depart.This role is for various projects that we have in KSA - both in Jeddah and Riyadh. If you wish to be part of our team in KSA please complete the registration @ LiveforceKey Responsibilities:Guest Assistance: Greet guests as they arrive at the event venue and provide them with a warm welcome. Assist guests with locating their seats, restrooms, concessions, and other facilities within the venue.Ticketing and Admission: Verify tickets and credentials upon entry, ensuring that only authorized individuals gain access to the event. Direct guests to the appropriate ticketing or registration area if needed.Crowd Management: Maintain crowd control and ensure that guests adhere to venue policies and procedures. Monitor the flow of foot traffic to prevent congestion and maintain a safe environment for all attendees.Information Provision: Serve as a knowledgeable resource for guests by providing information about the event schedule, program lineup, venue layout, and any other relevant details. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.Assistance to VIPs: Provide special assistance to VIP guests, including guiding them to designated VIP areas, assisting with special requests, and ensuring their overall satisfaction throughout the event.Emergency Response: Remain vigilant and prepared to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or incidents that may arise during the event. Follow established protocols for emergency procedures, including evacuation if necessary.Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with event organizers, security personnel, and fellow ushers to coordinate tasks and address any issues that may arise during the event.Qualifications:Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Good problem-solving abilities and quick thinking.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry light to moderate loads.Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments, potentially exposed to varying weather conditions.
