Job Description
- Develop and implement the overall eCommerce strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and competitor activities to ensure the business remains competitive.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the eCommerce team.
- Set clear goals and expectations and ensure the team is motivated and working cohesively towards achieving them.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive sales and revenue growth by developing and executing effective marketing and sales strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition cost.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to optimize sales performance.
- Oversee eCommerce operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment, shipping, and returns.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure efficient processes, timely delivery, and effective inventory control.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize operational performance.
- Stay abreast of the latest eCommerce technologies and platforms.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of eCommerce systems.
- Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to monitor eCommerce performance and derive actionable insights
- Develop and manage the eCommerce budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Monitor financial performance, track expenses, and identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve profitability.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, finance, supply chain, and IT, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business strategies.
- Foster strong working relationships and effective communication channels.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus).
