Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage architectural design activities related to facades, fire-rated buildings, steel structures, wooden works, waterproofing, thermal insulation, sound insulation, doors, windows, curtain walls, and different types of finishes for flooring, walls, and ceilings, with a focus on acoustical requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on architectural design principles, materials, and construction methods.
- Conduct meetings with site team and contractors to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
- Develop and review architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to architectural design.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior architects and engineers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Proven experience as a Senior Architect Engineer or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of architectural design principles, materials, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and 3D modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of soundproofing techniques and materials.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in sustainable design and green building practices.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Familiarity with energy-efficient design principles.
- Experience in interior design and lighting design.
- Additional certifications or courses related to LEED, sustainable design, green building practices, building codes, energy-efficient design, interior design, or lighting design would be advantageous.
