Job Description
- Ensure adherence to approved administrative procedures within the gym.
- Act as the gym manager's delegate (in his absence) in supervise and monitor all gym facilities within the club.
- Ensure the implementation of training instructions and rules within the gym area.
- Divide the sales targets into time periods and distribute them among trainers according to their expertise, the frequency of member visits to the branch, and the various requirements of members.
- Monitor maintenance for equipment, gym facilities, and cleanliness level in coordination with different departments, taking all necessary prompt actions.
- Provide prompt response to member needs as long as they do not conflict with club policies and rules.
- Handle member complaints within the scope of authority.
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of gym administrators and assistants (if applicable).
- Have full knowledge of emergency procedures and safe equipment operation methods.
- Ensure that the team complies with HSE instructions.
- Prepare monthly reports on the progress of operations within the gym.
- Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the mainframe of the job’s specialty.
Job Requirements
Educational background and previous experience:
- Suitable higher education degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the same field.
- Obtaining an international certification in the field of physical fitness (CFT) Certified Fitness Trainer.
Knowledge and Functional Skills:
- Planning and procedural design skills, with the ability to monitor their implementation.
- Team management skills and task distribution proficiency.
- Problem-solving abilities and customer service expertise.
- Good knowledge of gym equipment and regular maintenance requirements.
- Awareness of safety regulations within the gym.
