A logistics executive in fruits and vegetables industry oversees and manages the transportation, storage and distribution of goods.

Responsibilities typically include:

  • Coordinating with suppliers, carriers and warehouses, shipping lines, freight forwarders, optimizing supply chain efficiency, managing inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery of products.
  • Moreover, analyzing data to improve processes, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Job Requirements

The requirements for a logistics executive position typically include:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a related field is often required.
  • Languages: English excellent writing and speaking
  • French: preferably as a second language
  • Experience: 1-y up to 7-y experience in logistics, supply chain management, transportation or a related field is usually necessary. 
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of logistics processes, supply chain management, transportation regulations and industry best practices is essential.
