Job Description
Job Summary:
Compliance and generating accurate costs and rates from different shipping lines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with shipping lines.
- Prepare rates and organize company information for tender processes, RFI’s, and RFP/RFQ’s.
- Able to provide prompt, accurate, and complete quotations in response to customers & internal team members.
- Maintain & update the pricing database in a timely manner.
- Contact shipping lines for the best competitive rates based on the destination/transit time; free days requirements provided by the customer and or sales department.
- Support the Sales/customers by providing competitive rates to maintain & grow the business.
- Prepare and update reports on a weekly and monthly basis, based on management requirements.
Job Requirements
- Any relevant bachelor’ Degree.
- 1-5 years of experience in the freight forwarding field especially in pricing (Must).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially excel.
- Very good English language.
