Job Description

  • Utilize internal and external tools to negotiate shipping freight rates with Carriers or Airlines.
  • Exude the highest level of customer service to both internal and external business partners and set the expectations that the task given will be completed to their satisfaction.
  • Expand and cultivate the Company’s carrier and agent network while developing new partner relationships.
  • Generate new business leads through identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities.
  • Provide customer quotations with a systematic follow up system.
  • Prepare daily sales report and Quarterly business plan.
  • Identify new opportunities and attract new customer.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing clients to determine their daily and weekly shipping needs.
  • Provide responsive customer service and resolving client issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all clients freight loads are shipped on time.
  • Follow up on client referrals.
  • Work closely with operations and C.S team smooth and efficient customer care.
  • Develop a database of prospective clients, as well as Account Management to retain and grow the existing client base.
  • Ensure commercial visits have been done to generate business.
  • Create and follow up pipeline reporting on CRM
  • Ensure quality of operations and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's educational degree (Preferably logistics field or equivalent)
  • A minimum of one year of experience in the field of Logistics & Freight Forwarding operations, regulations, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
  • History of working within a target-driven environment with a proven track record of meeting / exceeding targets.
  • Strong Sales techniques and deep expertise in FFW.
  • Proven experience as FFW coordinator and customer service is recommended.
  • Very Good English Language both written and spoken.
  • Very Good in Microsoft Office Programs: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Very Good sales skills and excellent in closing deals.
  • Very Good Customer service skills.
