Job Description

  • Develop and execute a robust social media marketing strategy tailored to the transportation and trucking industry, enhancing our brand's presence and engagement.
  • Create and manage engaging, industry-specific content across platforms that reflects our brand’s voice and meets our business objectives. Content types include posts, videos, infographics, and blog entries that highlight industry insights, company news, and operational successes.
  • Engage with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and cultivate a growing base of followers by leveraging industry-specific discussions and content.
  • Analyze industry trends and competitor strategies to continuously refine our social media approach, ensuring it remains relevant and impactful within the transportation sector.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to integrate social media with all aspects of business development and customer relationship management.
  • Track social media performance using analytical tools to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies, focusing on metrics relevant to the transportation and trucking industry.
  • Manage targeted social media advertising campaigns, optimizing for both reach and engagement within our specific industry sector.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align social media strategies with broader marketing initiatives, ensuring a unified approach to market penetration and brand communication.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field with a strong understanding of the transportation and trucking industry.
  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably within the transportation, logistics, or related sectors.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to produce compelling content that engages industry-specific audiences.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools and the ability to translate data into actionable growth strategies.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing practices including SEO, content marketing, and online advertising, as they relate to the transportation and trucking industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
