Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the daily activities of the accounting department and ensure that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensuring that all accounting processes align with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and current financial legislation.
  • Maintain records of fixed assets and depreciation.
  • Supervise preparing and analyzing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow and bank reconciliations to ensure sufficient liquidity for daily operations and strategic investments.
  • Manage accounts payable batches and check runs accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Manage and supervise accounting department employees, responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership.
  • Maintain and oversee all accounting procedures and processes.
  • Oversee budget reports, preparation of budgets, and analysis of budgets.
  • Oversees the completion of ledger accounts and financial statements.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing financial reports and statements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.

Job Requirements

  • Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting or related field.
    Min 10 years of experience in Accounting/Finance in general.
    2 - 4 years of experience in a similar position as “Accounting Manager”
    Certified CMA, CPA & MBA is preferred.
  • Skills:
    Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
    Ability to take ownership and initiative along with a problem solving and decision-making attitude.
    Excellent computer skills using Microsoft office software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Excellent in reading/writing English language.
    Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.​
