As a Tech Lead in Optasia's technology team, you will oversee the technical aspects of a software team by guiding team members in technical matters and supervising system modifications
What You Will Do
- Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.
- Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard.
- Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
- Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.
- Motivating staff and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.
- Work closely with various internal departments to ensure all client requests are fulfilled promptly and effectively.
- Lead technical execution of projects.
- Build a passionate, collaborative, and creative culture.
- Continuously drive to improve visibility, availability, and conversion.
- Ensure the timely and efficiency delivery of the technical aspects.
- Coordinate the hiring of new team members with relevant HR partners.
- Conduct performance reviews, combining inputs from a variety of sources and delivering it to team members.
Job Requirements
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and a Master degree in Business Administration
- At least 7 years' experience in back-end platforms development with solid programming abilities preferably in Spring Framework
- At least 3 years' experience in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles
- Knowledge of Relational Database technology
- Knowledge of NoSQL will be considered a plus.
- Postgres, Elastic Search, Docker Swarm
