As a Tech Lead in Optasia's technology team, you will oversee the technical aspects of a software team by guiding team members in technical matters and supervising system modifications

What You Will Do

  • Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  • Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard.
  • Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
  • Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.
  • Motivating staff and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.
  • Work closely with various internal departments to ensure all client requests are fulfilled promptly and effectively.
  • Lead technical execution of projects.
  • Build a passionate, collaborative, and creative culture.
  • Continuously drive to improve visibility, availability, and conversion.
  • Ensure the timely and efficiency delivery of the technical aspects.
  • Coordinate the hiring of new team members with relevant HR partners.
  • Conduct performance reviews, combining inputs from a variety of sources and delivering it to team members.

Job Requirements

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and a Master degree in Business Administration
  • At least 7 years' experience in back-end platforms development with solid programming abilities preferably in Spring Framework
  • At least 3 years' experience in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles
  • Knowledge of Relational Database technology
  • Knowledge of NoSQL will be considered a plus.
  • Postgres, Elastic Search, Docker Swarm
