We seek a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Officer to join our team as a specialist in Port Disbursement Account (PDA) and Final Disbursement Account (FDA) management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and maritime operations, with a focus on ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance in financial transactions related to vessel operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience 5 years in accounting, financial analysis, or maritime operations, focusing on port disbursement accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of the shipping industry, port operations, and maritime logistics is mandatory.
