Job Description

• Cost analyzing, reporting on actual cost and comparison with budget

• Analyze and recommend costs and cost savings.

• Analyze the financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed

• Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies

• Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports to identify variances and trends.

• Assist in the development of annual operating budgets and forecasts.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and journal entries.

Collect cost information and maintain an expense database

• Analyze and recommend costs and cost savings.

• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, processes, and controls to accurately track and analyze costs throughout the organization.

• Conduct regular cost analyses and provide detailed reports to management, highlighting areas of concern and opportunities for cost savings.

•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and finance, to gather data and insights for cost analysis.

• Perform variance analysis to identify deviations from budgeted costs and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

• Participate in developing product pricing strategies by providing accurate cost information and analysis.

• Assist in ERP system data entry. 

• Review the stock level of inventory on monthly basis to control the inventory.

• Manage cost center system

Job Requirements

● Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role

● Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures

● In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

● Experience with accounting software.

● Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)

● Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail

● Strong time management skills

● Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information

● BSc degree in Accounting, Accounting Department

  • Experience in accounting and costs (at least 3 years)
  • Age (not exceeding 30 years
  • His position on recruitment (performed or exempt)
