The incumbent will perform a variety of duties such as checking in guests, enforcing rules, maintaining equipment, and coordinating activities.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet guests and provide information about recreational facilities and activitiesCheck in guests and collect fees for facility use or activitiesMonitor activities and enforce facility rules to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guestsSet up and maintain recreational equipment and facilities, including cleaning and minor repairsAssist with coordinating and implementing recreational activities, including games, tournaments, and special eventsProvide first aid and emergency assistance as neededMaintain accurate records and reports of facility usage, equipment inventory, and incidentsAssist with marketing and promoting recreational activities and facilities to increase usage and revenueMaintain a clean and organized facility, including locker rooms and restroomsPerform other duties as assignedHigh school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in recreation, physical education, or a related field preferredExperience working in a recreational facility or similar setting preferredKnowledge of recreational activities, equipment, and safety practicesStrong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse populationAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
