Chief Operating Officer- COO

Job briefWe are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer or COO to oversee our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. You will be the company’s second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of business.The COO role is a key member of the senior management team, reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). You’ll have to maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader. The goal of the COO position is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.Responsibilities:§ Strong leadership skills and ability to approach business with a creative point of view. § Lead a team of high performing professionals to be efficient and productive, and effective. § Manages and handles the daily business operations of the company, working closely with department heads and supervisors to support the day-to-day activity of employees.§ Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures.§ Extensive experience within the Perfume industry, preferably having worked there up to an executive role. § Collaborate with CEO in setting and driving organization vision, operation strategy and hiring levels. § Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization wide goal setting, performance management and annual operation planning, § Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a high inclusive work culture that ensure team member can thrive and that organizational goals are met. § Analyze internal operation and identifies areas of process enhancement. § Implement business strategy and plan that align with the short- and long-term goals objectives develop in the tandem with CEO, § Oversee operations, Finance, Admin, Factory, Store, IT and other departments and partner with CEO in sales management so that sufficient investment capital can be budgeted for near term growth targets. § Manage capital investment and expenses aggressively to ensure that the company achieves investor target for growth and profitability. § Build and maintain trusty relationships with key customers, clients’ partners, and stakeholders. § Write and submit reports to the CEO on all matters of importance.Requirements and skills Minimum 15-18 Years ExperienceProven experience as Chief Operating Officer or relevant role in Perfume Industry Understanding of business functions such as, Finance, marketing, HR, Sales, IT etc.Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solvingWorking knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metricsOutstanding organizational and leadership abilitiesExcellent interpersonal and public speaking skillsGraduate/PG Business administration or relevant field.
