Job Summary
Responsible for developing long-range strategic business plans, building business relationships with clients in order to develop new business opportunities.
Generate revenue as well as validating different business models for business partnerships by performing the following duties
Main Responsibilities & Duties
- Assessing the area of development (Priorities) and business needs.
- Solving the problems facing the potential projects.
- Measuring the business organizational performance through its KPIs.
- Discover the market area of development supporting the Company’s strategies.
- Develops & implements business development strategy to support, grow, & retain business.
- Conduct strategic business analysis that drives business decisions regarding capital raising, strategic partnerships/joint ventures & brand development.
- Leads annual strategic planning with the senior management which results in establishment of focused strategic initiatives to advance the operation & business processes.
- Directs, establishes, maintains & plans the overall policies & objectives for a complete range of business development activities.
- Monitors market trends & competitors activities in order to identify opportunities or threats.
- Conducts research, assesses markets and estimates business opportunity using market models & analytic techniques.
- Increase the gross revenues & overall profitability by planning & implementing effective sales strategies.
- Prepare & submit business proposals & recommendations for application of specific solutions to meet client requirements.
- Negotiates pricing, terms & conditions of agreements & ensure client requirements can be effectively serviced & supported by various departments including finance, engineering & operations.
- Attains an understanding of the market & competition to suggest a pricing strategy that is in line with the company objectives.
- Adhere to all quality standards & processes for the acquisition of potential clients, partner relationships & business opportunities.
- Continually investigates & introduces process improvement measures for all business development activities & presents suggestions to senior management for consideration.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in a technically oriented business-to-business market.
- Experience in acquiring and managing technical projects.
- Experience in negotiating agreements with partners.
- Proven track record in client management & in developing new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Advanced interpersonal & negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning & presentation skills.
