Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation:

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for MEP components.
• Utilize cost estimation software and tools to ensure precision and efficiency in estimating.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options without compromising quality.

Tender Preparation:

• Develop detailed tender documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, and drawings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
• Prepare tender analysis reports and recommendations for management review.
• Participate in tender clarification meetings and provide technical support as needed.

Bid Management:

• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and submission documents.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of all tendering activities and documentation.

Value Engineering:

• Evaluate alternative design and construction methods to optimize project costs.
• Work closely with the design team to propose cost-effective solutions that meet project objectives.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to assess the feasibility of value engineering proposals.
