Job Description
- Oversee the receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes for finished goods and raw materials in assigned section.
- Ensure warehouse associates follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Conduct cycle counts and coordinate annual physical inventories to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Review inventory records and reports to identify discrepancies or supply/demand issues.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and transportation departments to ensure smooth material flow.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process improvements or worker feedback.
- Supervise a team of warehouse associates, including hiring, training, scheduling, assigning duties, and monitoring performance.
- Address associate grievances and maintain personnel records.
Job Requirements
- BA degree in relevant field.
- 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office specially Excel.
- Proficient with warehouse management systems and inventory software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment like forklifts.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
