Job Description
- Coordinating; checking and approving the completed supply orders.
- Verify that every material complies with construction codes, environmental standards, health and safety, laws, and specifications.
- Research and identification of new materials & suppliers for design and cost savings and develop and implement purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.
- Keep purchase agreements and procurement records up to auditable standards.
- Assist the Accounts Department in settling invoice disputes.
- Day to day interface with site management to service site requirements and needs.
- Liaise and work with all construction sites regarding site requirements, equipment and transport requirements.
- Issuing of Purchasing reports to Directors and board members.
- Issuing of Purchase and site orders to suppliers.
- Maintain records of the Company's purchasing,
- engineering, and different sites stock, monitoring due dates, etc.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
Job Requirements
- BSc in Engineering or relevant field.
- Must have experience in construction companies.
- Understanding of supply chain procedures.
- Ability to read B.O. Q's and specifications.
- Experienced in negotiating contracts.
