You will be responsible for overseeing mechanical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities at our project sites. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Supervise the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems at project sites.Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure mechanical systems are installed and commissioned according to project specifications and timelines.Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure mechanical systems meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.Identify and resolve mechanical issues and malfunctions in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of systems.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Prepare reports detailing the status of mechanical systems and any issues encountered.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures related to mechanical installations and maintenance activities. Promote a culture of safety among team members and contractors.Provide technical guidance and support to site staff and contractors regarding mechanical systems and equipment.Monitor project costs related to mechanical installations and maintenance activities. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Proven experience working as a Mechanical Engineer in a construction or industrial setting.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics, and specifications.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to mechanical installations.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering tools is a plus.Preferred Qualifications:Professional Engineer (PE) license.Previous experience with project management software.Familiarity with building codes and regulations.Experience working on large-scale construction projects.Note: This is for one of our clients, not avua directly
