Job Description: General Trading Manager (KSA)Position Overview: We are seeking a competent and experienced General Trading Manager to oversee our operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The ideal candidate will have a background in the construction, telecommunication, and supply materials industry, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. The General Trading Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of our trading activities, including procurement, sales, and logistics, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning:Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our trading operations in the KSA market.Identify new business opportunities and potential clients to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.Procurement and Supply Chain Management:Oversee the procurement process for construction materials and other supply items, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing.Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.Sales and Marketing:Develop sales strategies to promote our products and services to prospective clients in the construction industry.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to maximize sales opportunities.Logistics and Inventory Management:Coordinate logistics and transportation activities to ensure efficient delivery of goods to customers.Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and minimize holding costs.Financial Management:Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the trading division.Monitor financial performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve profitability goals.Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards governing trading activities in the KSA market.Maintain accurate records and documentation to support regulatory compliance requirements.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in general trading, preferably in the construction, telecommunication and supply materials industry.Strong understanding of trading practices, procurement processes, and supply chain management principles.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Office Suite and trading software applications.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Relevant certifications or diplomas in trading, procurement, or supply chain management are advantageous.
