We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Heavy Equipment Field Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and onboarding new vendors who offer heavy equipment rentals. You will play a key role in expanding our online equipment selection, ensuring a wider variety, and options for our customers.
Duties and responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify potential vendors of heavy equipment rentals in your designated territory.
- Travel to vendor locations to inspect the equipment, ensuring functionality and overall good condition.
- Capture high-quality photographs of the equipment, highlighting its features and capabilities.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, presenting the benefits of listing their equipment on our online platform.
- Negotiate mutually beneficial terms for adding the equipment to our online listings.
- Gather detailed information on each piece of equipment, including specifications, rental rates, and availability.
- Input equipment data and photographs into our online platform, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- May assist with marketing efforts to promote the newly listed equipment to potential renters.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field, such as construction, equipment rentals, or sales.
- Strong understanding of various types of heavy equipment and their functionalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with vendors.
- Proficient in photography and comfortable using a camera to capture clear and detailed equipment images.
- Ability to travel independently and meet with vendors on-site.
- Strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in relevant software programs.
