Job Description
- Lead in managing on-premises virtual solutions, focusing on both Hyper-V and VMware environments.
- Ensure the high availability, performance, and security of virtualized infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure Section Head in managing cloud solutions on Azure and AWS.
- Assist in ensuring the seamless integration of on-premises and cloud environments.
- Contribute to the management of backup solutions, with a focus on VEEAM.
- Assist in developing and executing backup strategies aligned with business continuity requirements.
- Provide technical support in managing the organization's email system (e.g., Office 365).
- Collaborate on implementing and enhancing email security measures to mitigate cyber threats.
- Assist in coordinating and implementing timely system updates across the IT infrastructure.
- Contribute to the oversight of endpoint security measures to safeguard against cyber threats.
- Collaborate in managing the Microsoft System Center family, providing support for centralized infrastructure management.
- Assist in leveraging System Center capabilities for efficient monitoring, configuration, and automation.
- Provide support in administering and managing server infrastructures, including 3-tier and hyperconverged solutions.
- Collaborate on ensuring the availability, performance, and security of on-premises servers.
- Collaborate on implementing and supporting workflow automation solutions, particularly utilizing Microsoft PowerApps.
- Assist in streamlining business processes and enhancing efficiency through automation.
- Provide support in the administration of the Document Management System, ensuring accessibility, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize document-related processes.
- Assist in managing storage solutions, including SAN and NAS, to meet performance and capacity requirements.
- Contribute to the implementation of storage optimization strategies.
- Provide support in the administration of Microsoft SharePoint, Viva, and Teams for collaboration and communication.
- Collaborate on driving the adoption of these platforms to enhance organizational productivity.
- Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure Section Head in implementing and monitoring processes to ensure SLA compliance for incident resolution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- From 5 – 8 years of experience in this field.
- Technical Certifications (MCSA – MSITP)
Knowledge and Functional Skills:
- Proven experience as a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role.
- Advanced knowledge of on-premises virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure and AWS.
- Experience with backup solutions, preferably VEEAM.
- Strong understanding of endpoint security and system updates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint, Viva, and Teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a technical team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter, resourceful, great problem solver.
