Job Description
As a LEED AP at Methods Designs, you will play a key role in guiding our projects towards LEED certification, ensuring that designs meet the highest standards of sustainability and environmental performance. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients to integrate sustainable design strategies into every phase of the project.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage LEED certification processes for projects from conception to completion.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to integrate sustainable design principles into projects.
Conduct sustainability assessments and provide recommendations for achieving LEED certification.
Coordinate with consultants and contractors to implement sustainable building strategies.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in sustainable design and construction.
Prepare and submit documentation for LEED certification, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture, engineering, environmental science, or related field.
LEED AP certification required. LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) with a specialty in Building Design + Construction (BD+C) or equivalent.
+1 years of experience in sustainable design and LEED certification.
Proficient in using sustainability assessment tools and software.
Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
