Job Description

Job PurposeJobholders at this level are capable of operating with minimal supervision. They work within guidelines and procedures in order to prepare more complex, specialized or ad-hoc reports in their related field. They contribute to the completion of milestones or operational targets within the assigned functional area.They undertake operational activities including development of departmental KPIs and initiatives, classification/prioritization of projects and development of an action plan accordingly, and providing input on RFP to support selection of vendors.Roles And Responsibilities Liaise with Business Development and Improvement stakeholders to gather input regarding critical/identified legal areas of improvement that need to be addressed Translate legal business development requirements into legal initiatives that will help the department reach intended performance targets and goals Collaborate with key internal legal stakeholders to develop a prioritized list of projects based on their importance and relevance, and accordingly develop a clear plan in response Provide input on RFP development, select vendors, negotiate with vendors Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) with targeted objectives to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives Implement SLAs between the General management departments and other sectors Implement annual plan for the General management departments within the sectors, and follow up on the execution identifying and gaps and suggesting recommendations where needed Coordinate communication between senior, middle, and supervisory levels of management within the sector, as well as relevant discussions aimed at highlighting operational weaknesses and strengths of each department Evaluate performance of vendors against approved plans and escalate cases when necessary Conduct periodic inspections that aim at following-up on the implementation of initiatives as well the enablement of policies and processes ensuring the achievement of set KPIs and targets Gather data from legal departments concerning developed initiatives, and accordingly prepare statistical reports conveying analyses that represent an accurate perception of the sector’s overall performance level Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly Perform other duties as requested Train junior staff on the different job activities to ensure transfer of know-how, when applicable Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of subordinates/ junior staff Support junior staff or direct reports in order to execute their duties according to set policies and processes Job Qualifications And RequirementsA minimum of 2 years of relevant experienceBachelor’s degree in in Business Administration, Translation, Finance, or equivalent is required
